Navigate to your cgi-bin directory using a browser.
For example, http://www.server.com/cgi-bin/agnes

A dynamically generated page will appear with a
first time general setup
section.
Fill it with:
the admin password
is used to access this
section and the administrative sections of any bbs
the admin email
appears in all common
sections
the blank url
is the location of a
b.gif blank separator file, which you should now download and place on
your web server from
http://agnes.vestris.com/b.gif
the mail exchanger
is the mail server,
used to send email messages for article subscriptions,
confirmations, etc.
the forum creation password
is required if
you do not want to allow random people to create boards on
your server
the proxy
should be filled if you are
behind a firewall or use a proxy to access the internet

If this section keeps coming with errors after you have filled it,
you have not set appropriate permissions. Make sure you have suid
(chmod 4755) the binary on UNIX and that IUSR_COMPUTERNAME has write
access to your cgi-bin directory on Windows NT/2000.
