History of aGNeS and the Name

Agnès is a real person.

This BBS is in no way a tribute, nor is any kind of acknoledgement to her. In fact, she just happenned to be there in 1994 and this new software needed a name. She doesn't even know that there's aGNeS, a BBS system. aGNeS, the software, was born in the Infomaniak sotre basement in Geneva, Switzerland, and no one knows why any more.
