Merging and Renaming Archives

To merge existing aGNeS archives, you must navagate to your board with the +merge argument in the url. For example, if your bbs is at http://www.foo.com/cgi-bin/bar/agnes?FooAgnes+FooAgnesHTML , the url to delete articles is http://www.foo.com/cgi-bin/bar/agnes?FooAgnes+FooAgnesHTML+merge .

Your board with all archives will appear. You will be required to enter your administrative password and to select one or more archives. You must also enter a new name for an archive.

Note

If you select a single archive, it will be renamed. The newly created archive will always appear last in the archives list. There's no functionality provided to reorder archives.

If you have setup aGNeS on your server, you can supply the global administrative password to merge and rename archives in any bbs.
